Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign
Bordeaux star Malcom and will iron out the final details of the transfer
on Monday, according to reports in Brazil.
The Gunners are resigned to selling Alexis Sanchez in the January window, with Arsene Wenger admitting that the Chilean’s future will be resolved within the next 48 hours.
The Arsenal boss was adamant that a replacement would be signed, and now Goal Brasil claim that the Gunners have reached an agreement with Bordeaux for Malcom.
Arsenal held talks last week with Bordeaux and in a meeting in London on Thursday shook hands on a contract offer with Malcom’s agent.
They expect the deal to be officlaly completed at the start of the week and have scheduled final talks for Monday when the last few details will be negotiated.
The deal will be closed at €50 million (£44m), with Arsenal having moved swiftly to beat off competition from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal.
